3 Benefits of Trading in Your Vehicle at Your Ford Dealership

If it's time to upgrade your ride and you want a new Ford, you can use your existing vehicle to pay for a part of your new vehicle purchase. To save you the hassle of a private vehicle sale, here are the trade-in benefits you can take advantage of at our Ford dealership. more Quick and Easy Process The main advantage of trading in your vehicle at our dealership is the quick, hassle-free process. You can use our online tool for a trade-in appraisal, then visit our dealership to get a formal offer. Once you accept the offer, we can help with everything else. Trading in your vehicle also saves you time compared to selling it privately, as you won't have to meet with potential buyers and arrange test drives. Savings and Sales Tax Advantages When selling a vehicle privately, the buyer will send the money to your bank account. This means you will have to pay sales tax, and only then will you be able to use the remaining balance to cover a part of your new vehicle purchase. When trading in at our dealership, you won't have to deal with all these complicated steps. We will deduct the trade-in amount directly from your new vehicle's retail price, which means you won't have to pay sales tax for selling your old vehicle. By using the trade-in value to reduce your new vehicle's retail price, you will also be able to save on sales tax on your new purchase, as you'll only be taxed on the amount you'll actually pay. Combined with additional price reductions and incentives, you can save a lot on your new purchase. It Can Cover Your Down Payment If you're financing your new vehicle purchase with an auto loan, you can also use the trade-in value of your vehicle to cover the down payment. Depending on your trade-in's condition, its value might cover the down payment in full. This means you'll be able to keep more cash on hand or use the extra amount to pay for optional features and upgrades. If your vehicle is relatively new, its value might even allow you to pay more upfront so you can take out a lower loan and save on interest rates. To discover more trade-in advantages or have your vehicle appraised, contact us today at Ed Martin Ford in Anderson, IN. Our team will be here to answer any questions you might have and help with anything you need.

Ultimate Performance Unleashed: The 2025 Ford Mustang GTD

There's one supercar that has every muscle enthusiast drooling: the 2025 Ford Mustang GTD. With simply astounding performance specs and some tech never before seen in a road going Mustang, only one thing is for certain: sit behind the wheel, and your concept of the muscle car will never be the same again. more The Fastest Pony in the Herd The 2025 Mustang GTD is the fastest road-going Mustang in history, dating all the way back to the Mustang's introduction. The massive 5.2-liter supercharged V8 is a testament to the Ford Engineering team, putting out an astonishing 815 horsepower in a truly unbelievable display of American muscle. It boasts a top speed of 202 mph and a sub-7 minute circuit time at the grueling Nürburgring track, putting it squarely in the supercar category. That impressive power plant is slung low under the hood to help lower the Mustang GTD's center of gravity. Yet Ford has also made every effort to save weight, including everything from carbon fiber body panels to a massive spoiler mounted firmly to the C-pillar. The driveshaft itself is even made of carbon fiber for weight savings, and the exhaust system sports titanium tips in a subtle nod to its aerospace heritage. More Than Just a Mighty Motor It takes more than a massive engine to make a supercar, and the 2025 Mustang GTD is packed with innovation. Take the fender, an area of automotive design that hasn't seen much change in the last fifty years. Ford added vents to the front fenders to redirect airflow, helping to cool the massive Brembo forged carbon ceramic brakes and also reducing drag. Available forged magnesium wheels also help optimize power to weight ratios. Ford also shattered the illusion of limitation with an available semi-active suspension and hydraulic control system that allows the Mustang GTD to alter its own ride height at the driver's command. Engaging the system drops the frame nearly 40mm closer to the dirt for optimal aerodynamics on the track. Ford also equipped the Mustang Mach-E with a dry sump oil system to minimize oil starvation in hard cornering, a first for a production Mustang model. Ultra Smart Cockpit With two massive displays united under a single piece of glass, the Mustang GTD offers plenty of screen real estate to put critical vehicle information on display. Whether it's current active G-force loads, oil temperatures, or oil pressures, the Mustang displays what's needed where the pilot needs to see it. The displays are even driven by the Unreal Engine for video game-like displays and overlays. To discover more about the GTD, Mustang, and Mustang Mach-E, visit us today at Ed Martin Ford in Anderson, IN.

3 Reasons to Finance Your 2025 Ford at Your Ford Dealership

As your trusted Ford dealership, we want to give you a few of the many reasons why we're the best choice for your financing options when you want a new Ford. more Your Trade-In Is Valuable When you already have a car but want to replace it with a new Ford, you'll probably want to get rid of your old car. A bank or credit union isn't interested, as your original car isn't important to them. They're only interested in your credit rating, income, and other information they use to determine if they'll grant you a loan. As a dealer, we know your original car has value, just as you do. We provide a handy online tool on our website that allows you to value your vehicle in seconds. We'll need your VIN and a few simple details, and you'll receive a cash offer within seconds. Print out the offer and bring your car in. We'll quickly check it out to confirm the valuation, and you can trade it in at this value to reduce the price of your new Ford. Faster Response If you go to a bank or credit union for an auto loan, you'll need to complete their application, possibly have several meetings at the institution, and then wait for their decision. If the institution refuses your application, you must start the process again at another institution. We don't think you should have to wait, nor do our loan providers. You can complete the quick and easy loan application on our website. Once you submit it, one of our finance team will contact you ASAP to confirm your application details. We then submit your application to our large pool of loan providers, and you can expect to receive offers from them within a day or even on the day you apply. Easier Credit Banks and credit unions have strict criteria for loan approvals. These criteria are set by their home offices, and the local branches have very little discretion. Your credit rating is very important to both institutions. If you have a good credit score, they're more likely to offer you a loan. If you have average credit or credit that needs improvement, they'll probably refuse. Our loan providers can look beyond your credit score, and we'll help you get you a great deal that you can afford that will also increase your credit rating as you make payments. 3 Signs Your Ford Needs Maintenance

At your Ford dealership, we provide a full range of services and maintenance to keep your vehicle in great condition. Inevitably parts will age and wear out, and this affects vehicle performance. We want to tell you more about some of the types of maintenance we provide. more Engine Air Filter Replacement Combustion requires air and fuel; these elements must mix in a precise ratio of 14:1 air-to-fuel to achieve efficient combustion. Air enters the engine through the radiator grille, and then passes into the engine air filter. This concertina-like filter traps dirt, dust, twigs, and other debris, cleaning the air so it can pass into the engine. As time passes, the filter becomes clogged with dirt, restricting airflow. When your engine doesn't get enough air, the air-to-fuel ratio turns fuel-rich. The higher fuel concentration increases carbon buildup in your engine, which damages the spark plugs and lowers fuel economy as much of the fuel won't burn and is wasted. Replacing the filter is quick, and your engine performance and fuel economy will return to normal. Alternator Repair or Replacement The alternator is a mini generator that produces electricity for all your vehicle systems. It's tough, with few working parts, and will usually work for at least eight years before it needs replacement. Despite this, parts like the stator, which converts magnetic energy into AC, or the rectifier, which converts AC to DC can wear out and reduce or cut off the electricity supply to your Ford. An aging alternator slows, reducing the amount of power it supplies. This slowdown is irreversible and will steadily worsen until the alternator can't supply enough power for all your vehicle's systems and devices. Random electrical glitches, starting problems, and other issues will appear when this happens. Our technicians can repair your alternator or install a new one to fix these issues. Brake Fluid Replacement The brake fluid provides the hydraulic power that forces your braking system to work. It's highly pressurized and capable of working effectively at high temperatures. Like all vehicle fluids, it will age and become less effective. Older fluid will absorb water, and this can result in braking problems. Brake fluid heats due to the pressure in the system, and the water inside can boil. As the water boils, the brake fluid heats and the hot fluid can't supply hydraulic power. This is dangerous, as your brakes won't work. If you smell a hot chemical stench when braking, contact us ASAP so we can check your brakes. If the fluid is overheating, we'll drain and replace it and your brakes will work correctly again. If you'd like to know more about our available maintenance to book a service, contact us today at Ed Martin Ford in Anderson, IN.
