The Bronco Sport is a unibody compact SUV with standard 4x4 across every trim. The Big Bend®, Heritage, and Outer Banks® share the 1.5L EcoBoost® I-3 engine producing 180 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and HOSS 1.0 suspension. The Badlands® steps up to the 2.0L EcoBoost® I-4 producing 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, Advanced 4x4 with a twin-clutch rear drive unit, the HOSS 2.0 suspension as standard with HOSS 3.0 available through the Sasquatch® Badlands® Package, and 7 G.O.A.T. Modes® including Rock Crawl and Rally. Ground clearance runs 7.8 inches on the Big Bend®, Heritage, and Outer Banks®, and 8.1 inches on the Badlands®. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 25 city / 30 highway for the 1.5L engine, and 21 city / 27 highway for the 2.0L on the Badlands®.
