Blending smooth driving dynamics with handsome looks, the 2025 Ford Ranger is a great midsize pickup truck for daily driving, weekend adventures, and anything in between. You can choose from three muscular engine options to enjoy competitive payload and towing capacities.
2025 Ford Ranger Performance
Redesigned for the new model year, the 2025 Ranger comes exclusively in SuperCrew cab style paired with a 5-foot bed, a configuration available with three powertrain options. The base setup pairs a 270-hp 2.3L I-4 engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission and standard rear-wheel drive for smooth performance on paved surfaces and excellent fuel economy. Four-wheel drive is optional and pairs with electronic shift-on-the-fly.
If you need more muscle, each Ranger model can be had with an available 2.7L EcoBoost V6 powertrain that generates 315 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. The range-topper Raptor model can also be had with an exclusive 3.0L EcoBoost V6 engine for a net output of 405 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. With the optional Trailer Tow Package, you also get a towing capacity of up to 7,500 lbs.
Upscale Comfort
Inside, the 2025 Ranger impresses with a modern look, high-end amenities, and SUV-like comfort. The front bucket seats offer exceptional back and lateral support and come with various position adjustments for easy customization. The rear bench also offers ergonomic support and plenty of legroom for your passengers, and it folds flat to transform the second row into a cargo area.
It also boasts under-seat storage, which is perfect for storing tools or essentials. Small-item storage is also plentiful inside the cabin, including a locking glove box, an overhead console, door pockets, and additional storage space in the center console. USB ports and a 12V powerpoint make it easy for all riders to keep their devices charged or power up electronics.
Innovative Technologies
The new Ranger also brings modern technologies to keep you informed, entertained, and connected. Behind the steering wheel, an 8-inch driver information display keeps important driving information easily visible. The SYNC 4A infotainment system comes standard across all trims, with a standard 10.1-inch touchscreen on the entry models and a 12-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen available or standard on the upper trims.
With FordPass Connect, you can activate the in-cabin Wi-Fi hotspot, so all riders can stay connected. Ford Applink also comes standard, enabling smartphone mirroring, so you can view and control your compatible devices directly on the infotainment touchscreen. Additional features standard on the upper trims include connected navigation, premium audio systems, and SiriusXM Satellite Radio.
